When you go through something like Medical School, you have an instant connection with all of the other families that go through it with you. It's interesting that despite the stresses, anxieties and pressure... we also feel this strong ownership and pride over the campus we have put so much of our blood, sweat and tears into. This family has made it past the dreaded second year (where we are) past the dreaded boards (where we soon will be) and into a much calmer, smooth sailing, third year! This makes them my heroes. It is not surprising however, that they, like many other families, choose our beautiful campus as the backdrop for their family pictures. It represents so much of us, during this phase of life.
